Our client is a unique fitness company specially designed for women to meet their individuals needs. It provides a supportive, welcoming and a safe service environment to its members. It has more than 3000 locations worldwide. For their European region they are now looking to recruit a Finance Manager, based at the European Head-office in Utrecht
Position
  • The Finance Manager reports into CFO Europe
  • The Finance Manager is responsible for independently executing and
    managing the entire financial operation within Europe.
  • The position focuses on the monthly financial closing, reporting, consolidation, forecasting, and further professionalizing financial processes and internal controls.
  • As the CFO's right-hand person, the Finance Manager plays a central role in the daily management of finance and acts as an independent sparring partner for financial analyses, reports, and operational issues.
  • The role requires a high degree of independence, ownership, and responsibility within an international organizational environment.
  • From the office in Utrecht, the European office supports the financial administration of multiple European entities.
  • Guiding and coaching 1 fte
  • Contributing to process improvement and the integration of international financial processes.
Profile
  • Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, business economics, or similar (HBO+)
  • 10+ years of experience as a controller, finance manager, or similar financial role.
  • Experience with month-end closing, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience with process improvement and professionalization.
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and independence.
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Excellent command of English; Dutch, Spanish, French, or Italian is a plus.
  • Excellent IT skills and very good knowledge of Excel, including financial analysis, pivot tables, formulas, and reporting.
  • Experience with financial systems and an affinity for process automation and digitalization is a plus.
