Description |
Our client is an industrial company (PE held). The company employs more than 2000 FTE in more than 30 countries and generates a turnover of approx. 2 billion euro’s. Currently they would like to strengthen their Finance discipline at the Headoffice in Rotterdam by recruiting a Group Consolidation & Reporting Manager. This incumbent will report to the Group Finance Director and will work closely with senior finance executives on Group level and in the operations. |
Position |
- Taking ownership of the Group's consolidation process for both monthly internal management and statutory purposes.
- Taking ownership of the production of high quality financial accounts and reports for the Group
- Prepare Group Consolidated Financial Statements and compliance certificates for banks
- Coordinate and communicate with the local finance team members to ensure timely, accurate and complete reporting of financial information
- Ensuring the company complies with all IFRS requirements regarding financial reporting
- Monitoring new regulatory developments on IFRS and translate these developments into accounting policies for the company
- Working with the Group Controller to prepare quality consolidated reports for the Board of Directors and the senior management team
- Key point of contact for Group auditors, taking responsibility for the smooth running and timely completion of the audit process
- Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations
- Liaise with tax advisor to prepare tax returns for Dutch entities
- Provide technical accounting support to operating companies
- Supporting on a variety of ad hoc projects as required

Profile |
- Candidates for the Group Consolidation & Reporting Manager role should be qualified accountant a/o have a master degree in business economics
- At least 7-12 years of combined experience in a Big Four Accounting Firm and/or in industry working for an international group in a (leadership) role related to IFRS consolidated reporting and preparation of Group Financial Statements
- You can communicate (both written and spoken) perfectly in English at various levels
- Strong analytical, report writing and communication skills
- You will also enjoy problem solving and working under pressure
- You must also be resourceful and will be happy to get involved across the full spectrum of Group finance responsibilities
- Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a fast paced environment at a rapidly growing company
- Strong knowledge of MS Dynamics AX and Microsoft Excel
