Our client is a major player in the specialty chemicals and solutions business with their own manufacturing and laboratory facilities. The company is operating worldwide with operations in more than 40 countries and generating worldwide revenues of approx. 3 billion euro’s. The group is PE held. It’s Benelux operation employs approx. 80 fte and generates a turnover of 80 million euro’s. Their office is located in Utrecht. To strengthen the management team of its Benelux organisation, they are now seeking to recruit a Finance Director Benelux.
Positie
  • The Finance Director Benelux works closely with the Managing Director Benelux and will report directly to the CFO Europe.
  • Provide leadership to the Finance and Accounting function in order to optimize the company’s financial performance and strategic position;
  • Take part in discussions with key customers and suppliers in matters regarding financial terms, contracts, claims and disputes
  • Be a visible leader in the local organization and build internal relationships with central finance team in European and Global HQ
  • Monitor and fully control the financial and liquidity position of the company through actively managing the internal control of cash flow and overall control of income and expenditure.
  • Be sensitive for and recognize the risks of the company in the broadest sense.
  • Know and understand the information requirements of all internal and external stakeholders of the company and proactively supports them in their respective roles through the provision of accurate and up to date information.
Profiel
  • Having managed a finance organization in a dynamic environment, during times of transition, ideally in a PE environment.
  • A Bachelor/Master degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • A minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification work experience, preferably in an industrial / manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in external relations with banks, insurers and auditors.
  • Experience with international finance setting.
  • English and Dutch required
