Our client is a leading international research and consultancy company addressing society’s key challenges. With offices in more than 10 countries they employ approx. 600 employees. In order to strengthen their Board of Directors they are looking to recruit a new CFO.
Positie
  • Develop and execute the financial strategy, monitor performance and projected outcomes, including warning when performance falls behind and appropriate action plans
  • Assess impact, assumptions and implications of new business strategies and developments, including geographic expansions, to attain the company’s long-term strategic goals
  • Plan and implement the (multi)annual budget cycle, including budget parameters and guidance to operating companies
  • Appraise, monitor and report on investment proposals by the business units
  • Prepare financial information to shareholders and other stakeholders (e.g. shareholdebulletins)
  • Manage cash flow and liquidity issues, including relationships with the company’s banks and negotiation of the banking facilities
  • Leads the Finance function across the group’s operating companies and manages the group’s financial support team
  • Develop and execute the IT strategy and corporate standards with regard to IT-infrastructure and IT-application architecture
  • Manage IT intelligence across the company
  • Supports the relationship with stakeholders and shareholders
Profiel
  • Masters Degree in business economics and/or certified auditor/certified controller
  • Solid (15+ years) financial experience in a professional service firm, an engineering and project management consultancy company or similar project-based environment
  • Solid financial experience in a professional service firm, an engineering and project management consultancy company or similar project-based environment
  • Strategic, consistent, decisive, yet able to execute operationally
